Dining Tables
There
are many new options for table tops. Each of the harvest
tables, round extension tables and square extension
tables are available in either a distressed stained
pine top, a special 'aged finish' which accentuates
the grain and natural flaws in the wood, a hand-planed top or a birch
top.
|
Harvest tables are Camlen is harvest tables! It is what we do really well. Our harvest tables are available with 7 different leg options, and can be customized to the size that you want if we do not have it already. Our standard catalogue tables are available in 5, 6, 7 and 8 feet long and then each has two 16" company boards which extend the length of the table by almost 3 more feet.

This picture shows our 72" long double pedestal trestle table with
2" thick pine top.
This, like our harvest tables, is available anywhere from 5 feet to 8 feet long standard but can also be customized to different lengths. The solid maple pedestals sit 12" in from the each end of the table allowing room for a person to sit on the end without interference from the leg.

The bench is also available in matching lengths to the table. When ordered the same length as the table, then the feet of the bench fit around the table pedestals so that the becnh fits snugly under the top.

Our round pedestal tables come in 2 different styles of turnings. The smaller size tables have the base shown on the left here. This is the base on our item codes

We have also been known to customize this same base for a 60" round fixed top pedestal table and a 42" round fixed top pedestal table.

The RPT - 72" round pedestal table is our "other" pedestal table. The central turning on this table is made of 256 square inches of wood which is a 16" block. in other words, there is as much wood in this base as there is in 16 of our 4" table legs!
This base is used on a 60" pedestal or 72" pedestal table and anything in between. Both the 60" round and 72" are also available with one 20" center extension.
We also reduce the size to a 12" turning for a 54" round version of the table.

These
tables are a unique Quebec construction. They
are extremely practical for confined spaces
i.e. kitchens or apartments. The company boards
(24" each) slide easily into the main frame
of the table for easy storage.
